Widening access to outstanding education in independent schools
Bursary Funds established for each of our 12 partner schools
We support students from pre-preparatory through to senior school
All bursaries are means tested and are reviewed annually
Typical bursaries are 95% or more, minimum is 75%
Each year the Gold Standard Charitable Trust (GSCT) offers bursaries to talented pupils whose circumstances would otherwise put an independent school education beyond their reach. We work closely with our partner schools to develop fundraising campaigns, to help with outreach to local communities, and to support the schools and candidates throughout the application process.
We believe that it is important to nurture the talent and potential of young people, irrespective of parental means. The impact goes beyond making a life-changing difference for the individual student - it also broadens and enhances the experiences and perspectives of the whole school community.
